Starting November 1st, Tukuma Auto SIA, operating under the well-known brand Hansa Lines, has commenced public transportation services with modern buses in the Tukums and Dobele regions. The service volume is significant, covering over 4.2 million route kilometers annually.
The contract is set for the next 10 years, ensuring high-quality and safe public transport services for the area’s residents. A total of 56 buses have been deployed, with 31 serving the Dobele area and 25 the Tukums area. A key innovation is the introduction of six electric buses, which enable more sustainable travel options.
According to Sergei Vahnitski, a member of the board of Tukuma Auto SIA, the experienced team of 77 bus drivers guarantees professional and friendly service. In the Dobele area, 48 drivers are employed, while 29 are in the Tukums area, all dedicated to ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
“Tukuma Auto SIA continues to advance regional public transportation through innovation and improvements, and we look forward to welcoming passengers on our new buses,” Vahnitski adds.
Tukuma Auto SIA is a subsidiary of the Hansa Group and Hansabuss, aiming to offer sustainable and versatile transport solutions across the Baltics and Scandinavia.
